The EOA welcomes the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre (LMTA) in Vilnius as a new partner! Founded in 1933, the history of LMTA is an inseparable part of music education in Lithuania. Professional musical development in the country began already during the regime of Lithuania's grand duke Vytautas Magnus, when a school of chant was formed at Vilnius Cathedral in 1397. The academy is beautifully situated in the centre of Vilnius. Facilities include concert halls, dance studios, a cinema hall, a theatre studio, an opera studio, a music innovation study centre and a folk music archive.

Participant Profiles

The European Opera Academy is proud to invite top level students from around the world to participate in this new initiative. Our Modules are designed for two specific profiles:

Bachelor, master’s and third cycle students: only from Partner institutions.

Post graduates from around the world: professionals no longer studying at an educational institution having already obtained a Master’s (or equivalent) degree.

Partner Profiles

To complete what we offer the European Opera Academy is still looking for some highly qualified institutions in Europe that can provide modules (specialties) in the field of English, French, German, Hungarian and Russian repertory as well as education in theatrical subjects of opera and professional music theatre.
