On Tuesday 27 September 2016, the official opening event of the European Opera Academy took place in Maastricht. An international press release has been issued. Similar events by the European partners will follow. Thirteen European academies of music from twelve countries across Europe are working together to establish a centre of excellence for vocalists. The European Opera Academy hopes to number twenty European partners by 2017-2018, in order to offer an even more complete international programme with added educational value and unique opportunities for personalisation.
