Description of the module:
This module will be kept in Ravenna on May 2025 from the 12th to the 26th for 14 days. The focus will be on the production of a sacred representation opera inspired by Via Crucis, commissioned by Ravenna Festival, with music by Gilberto Cappelli and text by Gianfranco Lauretano. The project will have conductor Antonio Greco with the chorus and orchestra by G. Verdi State Conservatory in Ravenna.
The score’s lineup includes Soprano, Alto, Tenor, and Bass singers – Chorus. Strings players.

Specialty of this module in comparison with other modules:
The world premiere of a sacred contemporary opera commissioned by Ravenna Festival. It will be a great experience to see the concerting of an opera, never produced, where the contemporary style joins the sacred representation.
Name of the professor of this module:
Prof. Antonio Greco (Choir Professor and conductor) will present the conduction, production, and concertation process of a sacred contemporary opera. He will also give fundamental advice in technical situations about singers in a chorus position.

Explanation of the method to create an international music event. Visit the World Brass Conference, meeting with artists and professors from many Universities in the world that will be at G. Verdi State Conservatory in Ravenna from 20 to 24 May, 2025.
