Period of the EOA module in 2022-2023:

- 21st of February – 4th of June 2023 (possible extension to the whole term-beginning January 16th)
- 1 or 2 vocal students
This course offers an opportunity to perform an opera role in a full-scale production with a professional symphony orchestra at a Swedish theatre. The module consists of a period of musical preparation with vocal coaching and musical interpretation sessions, followed by role analysis and stage rehearsals, led by a professional director and conductor. The performance is produced with orchestra, sets, lighting, costume and make up.
The repertoire will be decided in Autumn 2022.

Number of ECTS: 22,5-30 ECTS; Ca. 170 hours
We choose our EOA-students via recorded material. With the application we need recordings of sound and video. Formats:
- Sound: Wav or AIFF
- Video: Mov or mp4
The results for the applications of all the Full-staged opera production modules will be communicated to the candidates only by the end of September 2022.
Description of the final Examination:
Students are examined through the staged performance and through a group seminar on the learning outcomes of the course.
